Earth Staff Conference

On November 6, 2024, eMindGuard’s progress was presented at the Earth Staff Conference, organized by the School of Earth and Environmental Sciences at Cardiff University, UK. The presentation, delivered by Dr. Diana Contreras, our UK-based team member, highlighted the app’s journey from its conceptual origin to its current advancements in research and development.

Key topics included the app’s integration of social media, environmental factors, and geospatial data to provide a holistic mental health assessment tailored for young adults. The project also showcased multiple research endeavors, such as crime risk assessments and socio-economic factor analysis, emphasizing the innovative use of explainable AI techniques.
